Lecso is a 2 year old medium size neutered male Cross-Breed (shoulder height: 52 cm, weight: 20 kg). He didn’t have the best start in life and ended up dropped off at a shelter. He was adopted last January but was badly let down and returned to the shelter in October. Since then, Lecso is heartbroken and not coping well at all so we want to find him a loving family to give him the love and attention he deserves.
He has a very loving nature and he is very human centered. He is a cuddly boy who loves being around people and appreciates even the little attention he is currently getting. He is a very active boy with high energy level who learns quick and will need to get a good amount of exercise to keep his body and mind busy. He is friendly with dogs and has not shown aggression with any of them. He currently lives in a shelter in an outdoor kennel therefore his new family needs to be prepared to housetrain him if needed. He walks okay on the lead but he may need further training on on and off lead walks.
Lecso would be best suited for a family without or with children over 14 where he is not left alone for long periods of time and there is time for his training. He would be happiest with an active family who take him on nice long walks with lots of play to drain his energies. He would happily be your jogging partner or do some doggie sports if he gets the chance. He could easily live with a friendly doggie mate, but he would be equally happy living with his humans to care for him only. As all rescue dogs, he will need love, patience, time and commitment from his adopting family.
Lecso is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for him. He comes fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.
