Betsy is a 3 year old female English Bulldog. She is an adorable girl who is no longer required for breeding. She is the sweetest natured bulldog who just loves cuddles with her humans. She was not used to life in a home but has adjusted really quickly. We are looking for a home with new owners who are around for a good part of the day and we think that Betsy would like another friendly resident canine to share her life with too.
As we have a limited history for Betsy older sensible children 10+ who are used to dogs would be fine. Betsy does come with some health issues and so we would really like a bulldog experienced owner for her. She has dry eye so will require treatment for this for the rest of her life, we will be happy to discuss the cost of her treatment with serious applicants.
Betsy also suffers from cysts between her toes, this is a result of being on hard flooring, it is hoped that now she is in a home that her foot problems will improve with time and good animal husbandry. There is the potential that the cysts may reoccur, a course of antibiotics and some foot wash will soon get her comfortable once again.
We cannot state for certain that they will cause her any issues in the future, however we want to make certain that her new owners know what her needs have the potential to be, and that they are able to meet her needs for the rest of her life. She is a beautiful girl and it is her time to be spoilt rotten with loads of love and the best care that she can be given.
Betsy has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. She is currently being fostered in in SE20 London.
