Vigyori (Smiler) is a 2 year old medium size male Cross-Breed (shoulder height: 48 cm, weight: 15 kg). He was found as a stray, wandering the streets in Northern Hungary in June 2019 and he’s been living in an animal sanctuary ever since. Vigyori is true to his name, he is a happy boy who adapted quite well to the shelter environment. He is full of life and interested in everything around him.
He is friendly with humans, likes being around people and would do anything for a nice cuddle. He likes keeping himself busy and be in the centre of activities in the shelter. He is generally good with dogs and is happy in the pack. He currently lives in an outdoor kennel which he is sharing with another dog therefore his new family needs to be prepared to housetrain him if necessary. He is currently not taken on regular walks and so training him to walk nicely on and off the lead is down to his new family. He’s also been tested with cats and passed the test.
Vigyori would be best suited for a family without or with children over 14 who are happy to spend precious time with him and would not leave him alone for long periods of time. We want him to be treated as a member of the family and be included in family life and activities. He could live with a friendly doggie mate but he would be equally happy living with his humans to care for him only. As all rescue dogs, he will need love, patience, time and commitment from his adopting family.
Vigyori is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family’s found for him. He comes fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.
