Turo – 9 month old female Cross-Breed

Túró is a 9 month old, medium size Cross-Breed puppy (current weight: 11 kg; shoulder height: 40 cm) who was rescued from a city pound with her sibling Nudli, early February. They spent 181 days in the pound after their mum with 7 puppies had been surrendered to be destroyed last August. 5 pups have found their homes quite soon and their mum was taken over by another charity. Only poor Turo and Nudli were left behind, abandoned, without their family. We would like to find them loving homes where they can forget about their troubled past and live a happy dog’s life for the rest of their lives!

Túró is a very sweet, timid girl who needs a gentle and loving family to bring her out of her shell. She is very playful with dogs, a little clown who tries to play with all four legged maties. She can get scared of boisterous or pushy dogs, but she would be a perfect match with another friendly, playful dog. She’s got a funny little character, she seems to be well enjoying the freedom after the long months spent locked up in a kennel.

She was very shy and wary of people when we rescued her but she’s opening up nicely. She can still be timid when meeting new people and she will need time to gain her confidence in a new environment. She can get scared of sudden movements and a gentle approach is a must for winning her heart.

Túró currently lives in our mini shelter in an outdoor kennel during the day and in the house overnight. Her toilet training is a work in progress and will need to be continued in her new home. She walks ok on the lead but she does not get regular walks so she will need some training.

Túró would be best suited for a family without children where she is not left alone for long periods of time. Her new family will need to be patient and give her time to settle in her new home. Her socialization and training will need to be continued and taking her to puppy classes is recommended. She needs a caring family with a gentle approach.

Turo wants to be treated as a member of the family and be included in activities to help create a strong bond with her humans. She would definitely benefit from the company of a friendly, well balanced doggie mate, but she could potentially be happy living with her humans to care for her only.

As all rescue dogs, she will need time, patience, love and commitment from her adopting family to become a happy doggie.

Túró is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for her.
She comes fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.

Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee.
