Nudli – 8 month old female Cross-Breed

Nudli is a 8 month old female Cross-Breed puppy (current weight: 11 kg; shoulder height: 42 cm) who we rescued from a city pound with her sibling, Turo early February. They spent 181 days in the pound after their mum with 7 puppies were handed over to the city pound to be destroyed last August. 5 pups have found their homes quite soon and their mum was taken over by another rescue organisation. Only poor Turo and Nudli were left behind, abandoned, without their family. We would like to find them loving homes where they can forget about their troubled past and live a happy dog’s life for the rest of their life!

Nudli is a lively healthy puppy who likes playing with her doggie mates, she is like a little clown running around like crazy or wagging her tail and her whole body is moving along, winding constantly! She was quite scared of people when we first got her but she is opening up nicely. She can still be a bit timid when meeting new people but she gets braver as soon as she sees you mean no harm. She can also get scared of sudden movements so gentle handling is required.

Nudli was slightly braver than her sister when they arrived in our care and was protecting her sister, however, they both gained a lot of confidence since then so no protection needed any more. She is sociable with other dogs and initiates a play. She is perfectly fine with dogs in general but she can get a bit wary of boisterous or pushy dogs. When she gets frightened she tends to try to bark the other dog away. However, she makes friends given some time if they are sociable.

Nudli currently lives in our mini shelter in an outdoor kennel during the day and in the house overnight. Her house training is a work in progress and this will need to be continued in her new home. She walks okay on the lead but is not walked regularly and it is down to her new family to train her to walk nicely on and off the lead.

Nudli would be best suited for a family without or with children over 14 where she is not left alone for long periods of time. She will need to be given time to settle in her new home and leave her fears behind. Her new family will need to continue her socialisation and training, and taking her to puppy classes is advised. We want her to be included in family life and taken on nice walks and included in activities which always helps in creating a strong bond between dog and human. She would probably benefit from living with a friendly, well balanced doggie mate, but she could be happy living with her humans to care for her only.

As all rescue dogs, she will need time, patience, love and commitment from her adopting family to become a happy and well behaved dog. Nudli is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for her. She comes fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.

Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee.
