Kormi – 10 year old male Cross-Breed

Kormi is a 10 year old male Cross-Breed. He is a medium size (shoulder height: 52 cm, weight: 22 kg) neutered male mix breed. Sadly, he is one of the forgotten dogs, quite literally. He was passed on to the shelter he currently lives in by a rescue organisation about 6 years ago (!) but they kept the right to rehome him. Which they never did and completely forgot about Kormi as if he did not exist. And this boy spent most of his life in a shelter due to a human error. He is 10 years old now. And he deserves the best home to spend his golden years in and we are committed to find it for him!

Kormi has a lovely temperament, he is a soft dog who is good with people, loves cuddles and has his tail wagging once he sees you. He is not really interested in other dogs and does not really need their company but he lives among them peacefully. This sad eyed boy is very adaptable and wants nothing but to love and be loved and spend the rest of his life in a warm home where he is well cared for and loved dearly. Kormi currently lives in a shelter where he spends his nights in a kennel so we are unsure about his house training needs. He walks on the lead if needed but he does not get regular walks currently so he may need to be trained.  He is quite fit for his age and moving around nicely and is happy to go on walks. He has not a bad bone in him and he is a very sweet dog who deserves much more.

Kormi would be best suited with a family without children (visiting children are not a problem) where there’s someone home for most part of the day as he wants to spend precious time with his loved ones. We want him to be loved, respected and well cared for so he can experience what it is like to be the member of a family at long last. He could live with a friendly doggie, but he would be equally happy living with his humans to care for him only. As all rescue dogs, he will need love, patience, time and commitment from his adopting family.

Kormi is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family’s found for him. He comes fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.
