Hi everyone! My name is Ronnie and I am a 2.5 year old male Lurcher. I have lived with a cat and could live with a very dog savvy cat who wouldn’t mind me trying to play with them!!! I also absolutely love children so would like to be re-homed to a family with little people! I can be quite bouncy during play so would need children who are used to dogs. Unfortunately my mum is due to have a baby and the baby is not well so there will be lots of hospital visits / stays and my mum knows she won’t be able to look after me during this time so has made the heartbreaking decision to find me another fur ever family. I will be neutered before leaving for my fur ever home and have been microchipped and vaccinated.
I am very friendly with new people and love a fuss! I will bark when people come to the door and then will shower them with affection! I love other dogs and would love to live with a playful dog of a similar size. I do pull a bit on the lead initially but once I have had a few zoomies around the field I’m happy to chill out at home for the rest of the day. My recall needs some work as I find it hard not to run over to say hi to new people and dogs! I travel well in the car and have no guarding issues over food and toys. I am a food thief so don’t leave your dinner within my reach as I will clear your plate before you can say ‘grubs up’.
Here’s what my mum says about me – Ronnie is a very loving big softy! he absolutely loves my 3 children’s 1 being autistic, so he used to a loud hectic household- that he loves! Loves visitors although I will bark when the doorbell goes! He loves a fuss & pretty sure he just wants to be a lap dog! we are devastated to have to rehome our beautiful boy but know he will make another family very happy!
So all in all I am a happy friendly child and dog friendly boy looking for a sofa to call my own and plenty of cuddles.
