Henry is a 5 year old male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is an ex stud dog who has come to us to find his forever home as he is no longer required for breeding. He is a sweet but nervous chap who will need kind and patient owners and at least one other similar sized resident dog in the home. He is not used to walking on lead or anything within the home, his foster is working on this with him but this will need to continue when he goes to his new home.
As is sadly expected with this breed, Henry does have a mild heart murmur, he does not currently require medication but may well need it in the future. Please consider the cost of medication before applying. We cannot say if or when Henry would require medication, keeping his weight low, maintaining regular exercise will help keep his heart healthy for as long as possible. We will discuss in greater detail with suitable applicants.
He is a really friendly lad but he cannot be re homed with cats or small furries as he does like to chase. He travels well in the car and is doing well with his house training although a few accidents should be expected initially. He will need his new owners around for most of the day and he must be re homed with at least one other similar sized confident dog in the home to help teach him about being a pet.
Henry has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped, he has also had a full dental. He is up t date with flea and worming treatments and is currently being fostered in LU7 Leighton Buzzard.
