Hi ! My name was Boss but my adopters called me Raoul. I’m an ex hunting hound and look like a Beagle. I’m approx 15 kgs. I was rescued from a horrific life from a dreadful Perrera in Northern Spain. We were cramped into small cold concrete runs and hosed out every day. Prior to that I was a hunting hound but due to my age I no longer was any use so I was thrown in the pound. You can see the scars on my head from hunting and humans. Iv not had an easy life.
I was adopted by a family in North London who had the best of intentions of giving me a good home. Sadly it’s not working out as I come with some rescue traits that they haven’t had time to work on. I’m known to raid the bin or any other food that is within reach. I still occasionally urinate in the house but this terrifies me and I run and hide. I can be willful at times however given the right home and an experienced rescue family I know you can show me how to be the best dog I can be. My family have very busy lives and haven’t had time to work with me.
I’m not a bad dog – I just need an experienced family who can show me the right way to be the best dog I can be. I would need someone who would go and learn basic training with me so we can become bonded, I would need a secure garden and lastly I would be happy with older children who were aware of my needs- no younger children.
I really really want to have my real happy ever after. If you feel you have what it takes I am already neutered, fully vaccinated and was blood tested healthy prior to leaving Spain.
