Huncut is a 3 year old, small size (weight: 8 kg, shoulder height: 32 cm), spayed female Fox Terrier cross who was rescued from a high kill city pound early September. She was expecting a litter of puppies when she was released from the kill shelter. She currently lives in a shelter environment among her shelter mates.
Huncut is a placid dog with a lovely temperament who could be a perfect family pet! She is friendly with humans and likes being around people. She’s a sweet girl who is up for a cuddle any time. She is calm and relaxed among her doggie mates too, she gets on well with males and females alike, however, she does not have too much interaction with them, apart from a sniff or a tail wag she is not really bothered by them. We hope she can spend the winter with her new family in a warm home instead of an outdoor kennel. She does not get regular walks and we are unsure about her house training needs as she currently lives outdoors and her past is unknown.
Huncut would be best suited for a family without or with children over 12 who would not leave her alone for long periods of time and would involve her in family life. Her family will need to give her time to settle in her new home and meet her training needs. We want her to experience only the bright side of life from now on. She could live with a friendly doggie mate or she would be happy living with her family to care for her only. As all rescue dogs, she will need love, patience, time and commitment from her adopting family.
Huncut is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family’s found for her. he comes fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.
