Annie is a 2 year old female Shih Tzu Cross. Annie came into our care due to her owner’s ill health. She did come to us with another dog (Ruby), however we are looking for separate homes for these girls but where there is already another resident dog as they have both came from a multi-dog household. Annie is a nervous girl to begin with and does take time to trust new people and will bark at first, however she is very sweet natured and affectionate once she knows you. Annie will benefit from a quiet home free from young children and with someone around for most of the day.
Initially she can be nervous around new dogs and will bark but is fine once she gets to know them. She has never been around cats. Annie is not used to being walked and may have accidents in the home so will need patience with both of these issues. She will also require regular grooming. Please take into careful consideration your future circumstances before applying to adopt Annie as she is only young and will require a lifetime commitment for the next 10+ years.
