Tara – 6 months old female Cross-Breed

Tara is a 6 months old female Cross-Breed. Tara is pretty girl who is friendly, happy and playful. She is currently in a Romanian shelter until she has a home to go to. We don’t know for definate Tara’s final size but it’s been estimated she will be between 11-12kg. Tara gets on well with her siblings, Frank and Dave, and the other dogs she is living with. Tara is a timid girl – she will come on leaps and bounds in a home, but needs to be homed with someone who has had dogs before and can bring her out of her shell.

As with all puppies, Tara will need a lot of socialisation with as many adults, children, dogs (puppies and adults), and other animals as possible. She needs to become used to a wide range of events, environments and situations to ensure she grows up to be emotionally well-adjusted and happy in the company of people and other animals. Like all puppies Tara will need to be lead trained and house trained, and this will take up a lot of time, so we are looking for someone who is home most of the day.

As she is a puppy, with careful introductions she will probably be ok with older children, but as we can’t test her would only rehome her with children over 12 years. She cannot be cat tested where she is either, so I’m afraid it has to be a cat free home. Tara was born in a kill shelter, and sponsored and saved by the public and taken to our rescuers in the last few weeks, along with her siblings Frank and Dave, and sister Minnie who has been adopted.

Tara is too young to be neutered, but this needs to be done as part of our adoption contract. She is now fully vaccinated and chipped. Homecheck and adoption fees apply. If you think you are the right home for this gorgeous girl, please contact us.
