Ronnie – 2-3 year old male Saluki Cross

Ronnie is a 2-3 year old male Saluki Cross. Meet our exceptionally handsome saluki cross Ronnie, he is ready for his forever home. If you are looking for a bit of magic, then this is the boy for you! Ronnie is super bright, he understands Bed, Wait, Stay, Leave it. He is super gorgeous, check out his tiger stripes and feathery ears. He is also super fun, there is never a dull moment when Ronnie is about. He is a lovable clown, who will give your heart the biggest smiles and laughter ever. He has great recall but please understand that he will need time to bond with his owner. We will not home to anyone who will just let him (or any of our hounds for that matter) off the lead.

This would be completely irresponsible. He goes bonkers when the lead comes out and generally has very little spatial awareness, as in he will sit on your lap at the kitchen table. He’s a saint in the car, loves any opportunity to get in it and has traveled up to 4 hours without a peep. Ronnie is not destructive of furniture but has a keen nose for anything remotely edible that is left out and within his reach. His intelligence knows no bounds it seems and will lead him directly to your bin and he has been spotted on top of a fridge before! He’s great at the pub/ café, just plonks himself down at your feet. Be prepared that most, if not all attention will go on Ronnie.

He loves nothing more than to snuggle up on the sofa with his head on a lap. He does absolutely hate, as in petrified, of the hoover and doesn’t really like the mop either or the blender in the kitchen, he slinks off and hides. He’s very vocal in play and can play quite rough but will stop when the other dog tells him off or if told to leave. He cannot be rehomed with cats and he needs a home with a totally secure garden with minimum 7 foot fencing and gates. He can easily clear 6 foot so please do not apply if you do not have 7 foot fencing or are not willing to heighten your existing fencing if not adequate.
