Magpie is a 6 month old female cream brindle Whippet Cross who found herself on death row in the pound, she was extremely emaciated on arrival and in season so she was a very stressed little lady indeed. Now she has settled in and been spayed, She is very typical Whippet in both size and character!
Magpie is fit as a fiddle and what a diva she has now become!! So calm and well behaved I just know the perfect home is waiting patiently for a dog just like her!! She can be weary of some men and dogs, so her adopter will need to take time to bond and build her confidence, we have been taking her out on lots of walks with the pack and she is relaxing more every day. God knows what kind of a life this poor little pup has had so far!
Magpie will steal your bed, and your heart, She is strikingly beautiful and gets compliments wherever she goes which of course, she is happy to lap up! Magpie is a real couch potato of a dog, She is very quiet and as much as She will walk for miles, she takes some convincing to get out of bed or off the sofa, particularly if its cold or wet – and who can blame her!!She certainly loves to snuggle with the other dogs!
She would love a family to play with her and keep her occupied, She is house trained and non destructive – happy to be left snoozing on the sofa by herself, absolutely adores other dogs so could happily live with a companion. Magpie walks perfectly on the lead, and really is an absolute pleasure! Magpie is a gorgeous happy little lady that so desperately needs a forever home and family to grow up with. Magpie is neutered, microchipped , de flead and wormed.
