David is a 2 year old male Pointer. He was very fearful when he arrived at the shelter, he obviously has had a very rough start to life, he needs an adopter with time and patience so he can gain confidence.
He has a sweet nature, he is very affectionate with people, he shares a kennel with male and female dogs, he gets on very well with female dogs, but can be scared and defensive with dominant male dogs.
Ideally we would like to find him a home with a female dog to help his confidence, but probably not a male dog. He also needs to be fed separately as he has not learnt to share his food yet, probably he has known real hunger in the past.
