Barney is a five to six year old bearded Collie mix. Barney fostered in Erdington, Birmingham (FR070). Barney lives in the streets of Braila for most of his life never knowing the comfort or security of a loving home. Eventually the dog catchers caught him and took him to the harsh confines of the Unirea public shelter.
Thankfully a rescuer took him out of there and brought him into the care of rescuers we have an alliance with and he is now with us looking for a new home. Barney’s experiences have left him understandably cautious of strangers. With those he knows and loves he is friendly and playful but he needs time to believe new people mean him no harm.
Barney is living harmoniously with other dogs currently and may well benefit from having another confident dog in his new home. If you are interested please call or message between 9am and 6pm.
