Lyra is a very loving older girl, aged about 12 year old female Cross-Breed, she has really blossomed with us since her arrival to the UK in August. She went from being quite disconnected to being really happy and into her people. She’s an older lady with a very loving nature and an independent streak too. She is very intelligent and knows her place in the world. Lyra has good life skills and experience and she will suit the sort of person looking for a companion, on a level. She is a mature dog with a good head on her shoulders.
Lyra loves having fun though, and is always up for a good run around the paddock. She enjoys her belly rubs and having a good game as well as adventures in the woods and interesting walks. She may be 12 years young but she’s totally unaware of it. She has been fully vet checked, had a dental and blood profile done, and we are pleased to say this girl is in great shape.
We would like to place Lyra in an adult only home (we never place senior dogs with children as they prefer quieter households) and where she will be the only dog. She gets a bit grumpy if other dogs do not respect her sense of space and we just think she will enjoy having all the attention.
