Pixie – 7 month old female Chihuahua cross Jack Russiel Terrier

Pixie is a 7 month old female Chihuahua cross Jack Russiel Terrier. Poor little Pixie was left behind with the rubbish when her people moved on. She was in poor condition on arrival and had what is believed to have been a rat bite to her foot. Pixie was thankfully taken by the Dog Warden to the vets for treatment as her little food was terribly swollen and painful for her. She has recovered well after her medication and has settled in her foster home without any issues.

She is an energetic little bundle of fun, Pixie is great with other dogs and really does love a game of chase. She is in foster with cats and has behaved really well around them so would be fine with a dog savvy cat. Pixie would like new owners who are around for most of the day as when she is not charging around she does love a comfy lap to cuddle up on.

Pixie will need active owners who enjoy a good walk, 5 minutes round the block will never be enough for this little rocket. She will also benefit from attending some training classes to ensure she grows into a well behaved, social adult dog. She would love another canine companion in her new home who enjoys a game of chase. Pixie has been clean in the house, travels well and is happy to cuddle up in her crate at night. She has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is currently being fostered in Aldershot Hants.
