Alfie is a 5 year old male Pug cross Chihuahua. Alfie is looking for a new home through no fault of his own, he is a great lad who would benefit from an active home where he gets lots of stimulation and exercise. He is great with other dogs and is used to living in a multi dog household. We do not know what he would be like with cats but suspect a cat and small furry free home would be best. He is clean in the house and not destructive, he is fine to be left for short periods provided he has had a good run. Alfie travels well in the car and loves his walks, he can pull a little initially just due to excitement, he soon settles as his walk progresses. He has good recall when off lead.
Alfie is fine with children and would be great with older teenagers who could have a game with him and keep him active. Alfie can be a bit barky when the doorbell goes, he just likes to let his owner know someone is at the door. He can also be a bit barky with certain things on the television, this should be relatively easy to resolve and may not occur in his new home.
He is not a tiny boy, Alfie is on the larger size for a pug but is adorable. He really is a fun loving lad who will make a great addition in most homes. He would like his new owners to be around for a good part of the day and who are able to ensure he gets lots of exercise and interaction. Alfie has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. He is currently being fostered in Aldershot Hants.
