Violet is a 2 year old female Dachshund. Violet has come to us as she is no longer required for breeding. She is looking for a new home with at least one other similar sized dog preferably another Dachshund. Although a little nervous, she is not as nervous as some ex breeding dogs, her preference is ladies as she is more nervous of men. With a little time and patience to help her settle Violet will make a wonderful loyal companion.
Violet takes little notice of the cat and is great with the other dogs, she travels well in the car and is clean and quiet overnight in her crate. Any children should be older teenagers who understand she can be fearful and who will allow her to settle at her own pace. Younger visiting children occasionally would be fine provided Violet has her space to go to if she feels uncomfortable. A quiter home would be best for Violet as long as she has the company of another dog and a human lap for lots of cuddles.
Violet has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. She has also had a her teeth scaled and polished. She is currently being fostered in Aldershot Hampshire.
