Seamus is a very lovely and affectionate 2 and half year old Fox Hound boy. He has a big heart and loves nothing better than lots of love and fuss and to be pampered. He is very loving and affectionate and great with other dogs. He is looking for his perfect home as a loving pet and never been used as a hunting dog. Seamus loves to go out for a walk and loves to have the exercise. However, being a Fox Hound he can follow scents. He is a young dog and would benefit from more basic command training. However if you are an active person who loves to go out for a jog/run, Seamus could be the dog for you. However, if you have a large garden for him to run around he would like that too.
As Seamus is a hound type dog and also in foster with other dogs he fits in well with both big and small, young or old and he would easily fit into a home with another resident dog as a companion. However, as he is a hound, we would say no cats or small furries. Seamus has never lived with children and is a big active dog, so a home with older teenage children who are used to dogs or an adult only home would be ideal.
Seamus is currently being fed on Canine Choice, an excellent food. They are currently sponsoring all of Lea Valley Dog Rescue dogs with their food and will give a free bag to whoever adopts Seamus, along with a 30% discount off their next order. Seamus is neutered, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated.
Seamus is currently in foster in North London, near J25 of M25. We are looking to home him in or around this area or neighbouring counties as a home check will be done. However further afield may be possible for the right home.
