Please meet Mighty Micky! Micky is a gorgeous 6 year old miniature smooth coat Dachshund he weighs just 6kg , he came into rescue when his previous owners could no longer look after him. Sadly when Micky arrived here he had terrible skin and was constantly chewing and scratching all over, he has weekly baths and has to be treated with Bravecto every 3 months to keep this under control, however he now has a lovely silky coat and most of his hair has grown back! He is also fed on raw food to aid his dry skin. He needs a home that has experience of the breed and is aware of their health requirements.
Micky is a typical little lap dog, he loves nothing more than cuddles, and he will quite literally spend his entire day snuggled with you, he also likes to snuggle under the duvet with you at night. Micky absolutely loves a walk, and is quite porky at the moment so will need regular exercise. he is house trained. He mixes fine with other dogs although he can be a bossy little lad and likes to bark at the dogs when they are playing or acting up! He is fine to be left for short periods as long as he has a bed to snuggle up in and is not destructive. He could live with older children aged 15 +.
Micky is a very sweet little dog, that is very low maintenance, that desperately wants a lap of his own to snuggle up on, can you offer him this? Micky is castrated and microchipped, and just waiting for his forever companion.
