Manchita is an 8 month old female Ibizan Hound (Podenco). This gorgeous puppy girl has an unusual all white body with a tan head and she is mega sociable, she loves other dogs, people, children and cats. Manchita – means “Little Patch” in English – is a petite puppy who will grow to be a small to medium dog. She was Barely two months old when she was tossed out onto the streets of a Spanish town near to the shelter. We will never understand this type of cruelty. She was absolutely soaked as the weather was awful this spring . She was collected by an extremely kind Spanish woman, who just couldn’t leave her to suffer on the streets. When Manchita first arrived at the shelter she was petrified of everything – this may well have been her first experience with kind humans or even inside a building! Now this beautiful girl is safe and growing well. She has discovered that humans can be kind and loving. She is in foster care with other dogs and lots of other animals. She is getting a great start to her life, ready for her next big adventure, but we think that she ought to be with other dogs in her new home.
Fosterer’s report: She has blossomed into a beutiful flower! shes loves life and really enjoys being with the other dogs. I think she would like to live with other dogs. Current location is in a foster home in Spain can travel to the UK once she has a home to go to. Vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, Spayed, Microchipped, Pet Passport, FREE 4 weeks Pet Insurance to be activated from the link on our website. Any known health issues NONE KNOWN.
For Dogs coming from Spain: This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for S European diseases, neutering (if old enough), parasite treatment and transport to the UK.
We can not home dogs from Spain to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough. Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
Adoption Fee : £ 265 – to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account
