Purdey is a 6 years old, Female, Jura Hound Cross. Purdey is a rescue from Cyprus, currently living in a foster home on the Isle of Wight, whilst she waits for her forever family to find her. Here is a little about her: Purdey is an absolute angel. In fact her name in Cyprus was Angel. She is a super, gentle and friendly girl, who has stolen her foster family’s hearts. She is lovely with the two children of 7 and 13 and gets along well with the resident, bossy French bulldog.
Purdey loves her walks and really enjoys putting her head to the ground and following her nose. So she does need some further training with recall if you want to be able to let her off lead. When Purdey arrived in the UK she was recovering from itchy skin. Her foster mum has found that putting her onto a raw diet has now resolved this and that her coat is in a fantastic condition. She is currently on nutriment raw diet or the natural instincts, which she loves.
It comes already prepared and has huge health benefits and her foster mum recommends keeping her on this diet. Purdey travels fine in the car and is calm around horses as she has been walking out with my daughter and her pony. She loves water too but her favourite place is cuddled on the sofa having her tummy scratched. She is just a fantastic girl who is going to be terribly missed by all of her foster family.
Purdey’s dream forever home will have a safe, secure garden and a human who has time for long walks. She’s really is a beautiful dog with a temperament to match. She sleeps week through the night, and is fully house trained. We suspect that she would probably prefer not to share her home with cats. If you are interested in adopting Purdey, please contact us. We have no doubt that she will make her forever family very happy. She has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
The minimum adoption donation for Purdey is £325. ADOPTION IS SUBJECT TO HOME CHECK.
Full post adoption support is offered by our charity.
