Emma is a 8 month old female Ibizan Hound (Podenco). Dinky Emma is a pretty tan and white smooth coated little Podenco puppy girl who has such a sweet nature. Emma will grow to be a small to medium sized girl and she presently weighs just 7 kgs so will make someone a great sofa companion! She is bonding well to the other pups in the Spanish refuge and like all young puppies loves to play and get up to mischief. EMMA has the most amazing ears and lovely big eyes which give her so much character!
Emma has not met children or cats but we can make some introductions to see how she reacts if needed. Poor Emma was picked up in small town near to the Spanish refuge. She was in a really bad way, malnourished and very frightened. Emma needs a good home now with a family who will not let her down.
She is neutered, has started her vaccinations, is chipped, parasite treated and has a passport. Current location is in Spain can travel to the UK once she has a home to go to. For Dogs coming from Spain: This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for S European diseases, neutering , parasite treatment and transport to the UK. We can not home dogs from Spain or Portugal to people who work full time or long hours, unless some sort of doggy day care is offered. They need someone at home a lot of the day, they are not used to being alone for long periods. A dog walker for an hour out of the day is not enough. Leaving dogs a long time on their own means they are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.
Adoption Fee : £ 295 – to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account. Applications for South East UK and Midlands would be looked upon favorably.
