Please meet our lovely boy Buddy. Buddy is a very lovely affectionate and friendly 7 year old male Collie cross Labrador boy. Buddy has sadly come into rescue through no fault of his own and only due to his owner’s change of circumstances who is now no longer unable to keep Buddy. It is with a deep regret that Buddy is having to find a new home and we hope that he will not be looking for too long as he really is a super boy. Buddy loves playing with toys especially tennis balls as you can imagine. He is well trained, with good with his re-call off lead, loves his walks and interaction with people. He is a very intelligent dog and loves company and stimulation.
Buddy previously lived with another dog in his original home and is in foster with other dogs and is happy to play with them. He loves human company and prefers someone to be around most of the time or to go out and about with you and loves a car ride given the chance, bless him! Buddy is a very well behaved boy and would make a super companion dog or family dog and loves to be very much part of someones life. He deserves a lot of happiness in such a sad moment in time for him at the moment and it would be fantastic to see Buddy settled for the rest of his life in a new home.
Buddy is currently being fed on Canine Choice, an excellent food. They are currently sponsoring all of Lea Valley Dog Rescue dogs with their food and will give a free bag to whoever adopts Buddy, along with a 30% discount off their next order.
Buddy is neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped wormed and flea treated. Buddy is currently in foster in Welwyn, Herts. We are looking to home him in or around this area or neighbouring counties as a home check will be done, although further afield may be possible for the right home.
