Tango is a three to four year old small to medium sized Cross-Breed. In all honesty he looks like a Collie crossed with a lamb! Tango is fostered in Gt Yarmouth (FR001). We were sent a video of Tango a few weeks ago. He was trembling pitifully in the corner of a crowded pen in a public shelter in Romania. It was one of those images that plays on the mind and we were more than happy to offer him a ticket out of there.

On arrival Tango was terrified of everyone and everything but has quite quickly accepted that he’s safe now and follows me around the house with his tail wagging frantically every time I speak to him. He’s still anxious if I approach him and can scream if I touch him when he’s not expecting it. He will however come and lie next to me on the sofa and is already starting to enjoy a fuss on his terms.

Tango is a charming little chap who makes us all smile every time we look at him. He’s as cute as a button and very clever. He’s food motivated which means that although he doesn’t trust new people in an instant his friendship is easily bought with treats! Tango will need another dog or dogs in his new home as he gains confidence and reassurance from them. He will need a kind and patient adopter who doesn’t expect instant results but will see the dog that he can be with a bit of time and love invested.
