Jinty – 18 month old female Hound Cross

Jinty is a 18 month old female Hound Cross. She is a rescue from Cyprus who is currently living in the Stirling area and here is a little about her. Jinty is still very much like a puppy and loves having someone to play with. She is around 16 kg in weight and 71 cm tall. She has settled very well into a routine.

She is very smart and really enjoys learning, training and mental stimulation. She also loves being outside exploring and going on long walks. Jinty has found a passion for squeaky balls and enjoys a good game of fetch. She would be best suited with an active couple or ideally an active family.

Jinty walks very well on her lead. She loves most dogs and very much wants to play with everyone. Meeting new dogs on the lead can be a little frustrating for her because she gets so excited. We think she would really benefit from having a older, patient and confident older dog to learn from.

Jinty loves people. She is still a bit clumsy and excitable so living with a family with very small children might not be ideal but she really loves human interaction. Jinty isn’t cat friendly and does like to chase small furries. She does need some ongoing support with her recall especially in areas where there are rabbits, squirrels and other exciting things to chase.

Jinty is house trained, crate trained and sleeps happily in her crate through the night. Jinty loves human interaction. Her ideal home would be an active family, where someone was around for much of the day and where she could enjoy long walks and adventures.

Jinty has benefited from regular training both at home and a weekly training centre. She loves learning and is a very smart girl. Week 3 at training she was moved from beginner to intermediate because she had picked up the games so quickly.

This girl is amazing. If you might be interested in adopting her and have a secure garden and time to include her in your daily life, please when contacting us provide a little information as follows:

1. Where in the country you live?
2. A little about your experience with dogs.

3. A brief description of your garden and height of fencing at its lowest point?
4. Details of the other dog or dogs in your home?
5. Any other pets?

6. Ages of any children in your home or who may visit?
7. Time Jinty might be left alone each day.

8. Your best contact number so that we can call you.

She has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Minimum adoption donation of £375 applies.

ADOPTION IS SUBJECT TO A SATISFACTORY APPLICATION and HOME CHECK.

Post adoption support is available from our rescue.

Our rescue must be informed at any time of a change in circumstances and our dog returned to one of our volunteers where required. Jinty must never be handed over to any UK Rescue or sold or adopted on without our knowledge. We always accept the return of our dogs and will endeavour to rehome them accordingly.
