Holly is a sweet 3-5 year old female Terrier Cross. Almost 45cm tall, she’s just the perfect medium pup. Holly is a true Terrier, determined and strong minded but the most loyal and gentle with people she loves. It takes time to gain her trust, she’s cautious choosing both human and canine friends.
She responds best to people approaching her calmly and kindly, as she’s wary of loud noises and sudden movements. She has a soft spot for females and takes longer to build trust with men, but the rewards are always worth the effort.
Similarly, she prefers smaller and calmer dogs, however after attending a doggy day care for many months she proved she’s social and tolerant. She loves walks and responds well to various commands, like ‘wait, over, walk-on, walkies, heel, brekkie, dinner, tea-time, sweeties (treats).
Holly come, this way, good girl’. Her recall needs to be worked on and she might pull at squirrels or busy road traffic, but with consistent training she’ll surely become even more obedient.
She’s very curious and playful, she loves her basket of toys and will happily choose what to play with (soft and squeaky are her absolute favourite!). She also loves road trips, preferably sitting in the back with her head on the driver’s central armrest or on your lap, which makes her just the cutest travel buddy.
At the moment she enjoys a mixed diet of hypoallergenic dry and tinned food. She’s recovering from a non-contagious nose infection controlled with medicine for the next 3 weeks, after this she will need Tacrolimus cream to be applied to the bridge of our nose possibly once a day.
She’s the perfect match for any owner looking for a trusty companion with real character.
