Bentley is a 5 year old male Cross-Breed. He was abandoned in Oravita public shelter by his owners as unwanted, he had spent most of his life on a chain and had never experienced a kind hand or word, fortunately for him he was spotted by our Romanian rescuer Mona and she was determined that this kind and gentle soul was going to have a forever home knowing nothing but love.

Initially Bentley found living in a house very bewildering as it was all new to him but after a period of adjustment he has taken to living inside with great gusto, he is still amazed that he can sleep on a warm and comfy bed and get fed twice a day into the bargain!
Bentley is nervous around men to start with but he is learning that they are not all nasty, he still has a preference for women but he is slowly being won over and lives quite happily with his foster mum and dad being free with his cuddles and kisses, although initially the first time he wagged his tail it made him jump as he had never done that before and wondered what on earth was happening.

Bentley is a wonderful dog and is loving this new part of his life, he has learned to go out on walks, which he really enjoys, he is house trained, he isn’t keen on children and loves nothing better than chasing a cat. Bentley can live with other dogs but he does have a preference for female dogs, although a calm older male would not bother him.
Bentley can be left for periods of time and would be happy living with a couple or a single person, this boy has so much love to give and we have never seen any negative behaviour from him, we are just starting to see the gentle playful side of him as he now feels he can play in this relaxed atmosphere he is in.

Bentley is neutered, vaccinated and has had all of his flea and worm treatment as well as testing negative for Brucellosis and Heartworm. Bentley is fostered in SPALDING, LINCS, before applying to adopt Bentley please make sure everyone is in agreement and you are ready to adopt as this boy is now ready for his new home.
Full rescue back up will be given for him and a home check will be undertaken.
