Hugo is a stunning 1 year old male Mastiff Cross urgently needing a foster or forever home. He’s been passed around already in his short life and is anxious when he’s left (who can blame him) – he will chew and bark so he needs a home where someone is around the majority of the time to help him feel settled and secure.
He’s currently in an outdoor kennel so likely to need a little help with his housetraining too but that should be quickly solved. He’s great with people and children 5+ (although he will jump up with excitement) and he’s good with other dogs but a no to cats. He’s a stunning boy who deserves a five star life and will make a great addition to a sensible family. He walks well on a halti and he travels fine in the car. He’s not yet neutered but this will be done as soon as we can get him into our care.
We are awaiting proof of vaccinations and chip. Foster homes need to be within an hour of Rotherham to attend our vets and for meets. Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to us in South Yorkshire. As always we require everyone in the family and any children who are regularly going to be in contact with the dog to attend the meet.
Our usual process is that you will need to come and meet the dog and that adoption is then done on a second meet. For some dogs additional meets may be required and potential adopters will be required to travel to the dogs location for all meets.
If you meet the criteria for this dog please call 8am-8pm to discuss (if your call is not answered please leave a voicemail and we will return your call). If you are suited we will then arrange a homecheck, vet reference and meet with the dog. We only rehome where all resident and previous animals are/were regularly vaccinated and neutered/speyed unless on veterinary advice.
