Duke is a 3 year old male Cross-Breed. He is about Whippet size and fairly energetic. Duke is a sweet sensitive soul always eager to please his peeps and bonds strongly with plenty of affection to give. He has been in the UK since a pup and loves home life.
Living with other dogs large and small currently but wants all the attention so a fairly laid back non dominant boy or a bossy girl dog to keep him in check would be a perfect pal. He does have a slight chase instinct for small furries so definitely not cat friendly.
As an only dog his peeps would need to be about a fair bit but he doesn’t mind being left for short periods. Loves long country walks but just doesn’t like strange dogs or humans surprising him but who does!
Duke needs strong guidance from experienced owners who he will bond closely with and would need careful management of visitors to the home as most he loves but will protect his owners if he feels thats his job. He is muzzle trained. Looking for his calm, understanding and loving forever home.
Duke is a great dog in the right home but cannot be homed with children or where people have too many expectations. He cannot cope with too many strangers or new experiences at once.

Duke seeks a new country residence with a non confrontational canine companion and calm, confident, dog experienced adult humans who would like to accompany him on quiet country walks. This incredibly handsome boy is 3 years old and can be an incredibly sweet, loving boy. He, however gets stressed in new situations and doesn’t cope with busy pavement walks or with a lot of change or visitors.
If you have a quiet lifestyle, a secure garden, few visitors and lovely walks nearby and are prepared to give Duke stress free settling time then he could be your perfect dog. He is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped
