Lilike is a 3 and a half year old, medium size spayed Cross-Breed (shoulder height: 50 cm, weight: 16 kg). She was found as a stray in rural Hungary in May 2018 and has already spent over 2 years in a crowded shelter. She is a bit shy initially but she is opening up nicely as soon as she understands you mean no harm to her.
She loves cuddles, she’s affectionate and loving who likes being around humans. She has a lovely soft temperament who deserves a loving family after having spent so much time without much attention in a shelter.
Lilike is good with dogs and lives peacefully among them. She never goes into a conflict, she’s more on the submissive side. She is also good with cats and lives among them at the shelter. As she currently lives outdoors in a kennel environment, we are unsure about her house training needs and her new family will need to be prepared to house-train her if needed. She is not taken out for regular walks and training her to walk nicely on and off the lead is down to her future family.
Lilike would be best suited for a family without or with older children where she is not left alone for long periods of time and there is time for her training. We want her to be treated as a treasured member of the family and be included in family programmes and taken on nice walks and holidays. She could be a perfect family pet and she deserves the best home. She could live with a friendly doggie mate, but she may as well be happy living with her humans to care for her only.
As all rescue dogs, she will need time, patience, love and commitment from her adopting family.
Lilike is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family’s found for her. She comes fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.
