Please meet Chico who is heading into his twilight years. He is a 9 year old small Cross-Breed. He is in a Spanish foster home until he has a home to go to. Chico is a handsome boy with a reddy brown coat, little fleck of white on his chest and with a very short tail. He is a stocky lad who does need to lose a bit of weight – he is 13kg.
Chico needs his forever home, with a warm cosy bed, good food, daily walks and of course lots of love. This is his sad story: Chico lived chained up for most of his life , not able to go further than 2 metres. He was moved into the refuge, as they had nowhere else for him to go, but as he had no social skills with other dogs and after a dog fight his tail got infected and the vet advised that it would be better to remove part of it, so that was done and then he was put in a foster home, where he is now.
This has worked out so well for Chicol and he has gone from strength to strength, learning to trust humans, playing with the other dogs, and learning how to be sociable. And he loves cats too.
Please help Chico find a happy ending – he so deserves it. Neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
