Fruzsi is a 1.5 year old, medium sized (weight: 16 kg, shoulder height: 46 cm) spayed female Cross-Breed with a lovely scruffy look that melts everyone’s hearts! Despite being young and beautiful, she was saved from death row from a pound in in rural Hungary. Fruzsi is very timid and looks vulnerable, we are not sure what had happened to her prior to her rescue but we suspect it is nothing good.
She visibly feels uncomfortable with the crowd and noise of the shelter she currently stays in and she is not coping well. She will clearly not be able to improve in this environment so we want to get her out as soon as possible! She is good with other dogs but she likes being left alone, however, this may change once she is settled and feels secure in a home. She is not getting walks currently so she will need to be trained.
Fruzsi would be best suited for a family without or with older children who do not leave her alone for long periods of time and has time for her training and socialization. She needs a family with a gentle approach who has the patience to bring her out of her shell and let her settle in her new home. She is still young and deserves a chance for a better life without fear. She could live with a friendly doggie mate at a later stage, but for now she would like to be the only dog in the household so that her owners can concentrate on her training needs and rehabilitation.
Fruzsi is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for her. She comes fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.
