Borsod is a 1 year old medium size neutered male Cross-Breed (shoulder height: 48 cm; weight: 17 kg). He was taken over from a council pound with his brother after having been found wandering the streets in rural Hungary in an awful state. He had a serious skin condition and his body was mostly hairless and covered in wounds. His hair has grown back completely now and he looks lovely with his beautiful black coat and that cute scruffy face! He spent the past 3 month in an animal shelter and he is now ready to become a treasured family pet!
Borsod is a lovely active boy who likes people and is a lively playful puppy. He is friendly with his doggie mates too and likes running around with them. He currently lives peacefully with a pack of dogs in an animal shelter. He is not taken for walks currently so his new family will need to train him how to walk nicely on and off the lead. As he currently spends his nights in an outdoor kennel his future family needs to be prepared to train him to be house clean if necessary.
Borsod would be best suited with a family without or with children over 14 where he is not left alone for long periods of time. His future family will need to continue his socialization and take him to training classes if possible. He would be happiest with his family to include him in their activities and treat him as a member of the family. He could live with a friendly doggie mate but he would be equally happy living with his family to care for him only. As all rescue dogs, he will need time, patience, love and commitment from his adopting family.
Borsod is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family’s found for him. He comes fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.
