Rox is a shy and very pretty small Cross-Breed of around 5 years. She was bought over from Romania 2 years ago by another rescue, who weren’t seeing her make any progress, so they asked safe rescue to work with her. Since Roz came to her current foster home she has made some progress, she no longer runs from her foster mum when she wants to put her lead on and wags her tail in greeting.
Roz loves being outdoors and now walks confidently on the lead, although can be easily frightened by her surroundings. But this is improving all the time. She also likes to spend time in the garden quietly watching the Guinea pigs. She is clean and quiet in the house and gets on with the other dogs in the house, although is happy to find her own space. Rox is fostered in Gorleston-on-Sea.
Roz has a way to go before she really enjoys human contact, but is beginning to trust and allowing gentle strokes when lead is being put on or taken off. Roz would be happiest in a home where she can be given the time and patience she needs to continue to progress. She could live with or without other dogs. She is fine to be left for short periods. They are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (unless they are too young). Our adoption fee is £250.
