Nudli is a 7 month old female Cross-Breedpuppy (current weight: 11 kg; shoulder height: 42 cm) who we rescued from a city pound with her sibling, Turo early February. They spent 181 days in the pound after their mum with 7 puppies were handed over to the city pound to be destroyed last August. 5 pups have found their homes quite soon and their mum was taken over by a rescue organisation. Only poor Turo and Nudli were left abandoned without their family. We would like to find them loving homes where they can forget about their troubled past.
Nudli is a sweet little girl, a friendly healthy puppy who likes playing with her doggie mates. She was quite scared of people when we first got her but she is opening up nicely. She can still be a bit timid when meeting strangers but she will come along soon once she sees they mean no harm. Nudli is slightly braver than her sister and tended to protect her when they arrived but they feel much more safe now.
She can get scared of sudden movements and gentle handling is a must with these kind of dogs to help them come out of their shell. She also gets on well with dogs, likes playing around and still learning to play as she has not had the opportunity before. She is perfectly fine with dogs of her size or smaller, but she can be a bit wary of larger dogs. However, she makes friends with them too if they are sociable.
Nudli currently lives in a mini shelter in an outdoor kennel during the day and in the house overnight. Her housetraining is a work in progress but she is learning quick. She is not walked regularly and it is down to her new family to train her to walk nicely on and off the lead. Nudli would be best suited for a family without or with children over 14 where she is not left alone for long periods of time. She will need time to settle in her new home and love and gentle guidance to gain her confidence. Her new family will need to continue her socialisation and training, taking her to puppy classes if possible and make up for her time lost by being locked up for so long.
We want her to be included in family programmes and taken on nice walks to help create a strong bond and let her live life to the full! She would probably benefit from living with a friendly doggie mate, but she could also be happy living with her humans to care for her only. As all rescue dogs, she will need time, patience, love and commitment from her adopting family to become a happy doggie.
Nudli is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for her. He comes fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork.
Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee.
