Beautiful Ruby is a lovely 8 month old female Cross-Breed. She is in a private shelter in Romania until she has a home to go to. She will be a small medium sized dog when fully grown (around 12kg). Ruby has a beautiful face, with a black muzzle, and a black, tan and white coloured coat. She is a slim build and currently weighs 9.5kg. Two of her siblings Gilbert and Jessie are now in homes in the UK and are delightful dogs, without a bad bone in their bodies!
We are told Ruby has a very sweet temperament and is friendly with the dogs she is living with. Due to her bouncy puppy behaviour, it’s best she’s only homed with children over 11 years old. She is an energetic girl and will need plenty of exercise in her new home. We think she would make a great dog to train for agility.
We can only rehome a puppy to part time workers, as puppies take up a lot of time and they need someone at home a lot of the day. Ruby will need a lot of socialisation with as many adults, children, dogs (puppies and adults), and other animals as possible. She needs to become used to a wide range of events, environments and situations.
Ruby will need training in all aspects. Ruby was saved along with her 3 siblings from a horrible public shelter with their Mum. They were quickly moved to a private shelter in Bucharest. Their Mum Tasha was rehomed a few months ago; she was only small weighing 6kg. She is too young to be neutered, but this needs to be done as part of our adoption contract when she is old enough. She is vaccinated and microchipped and has a passport.
