Moon is a 3 year old female Jura Hound Cross. She is a beautiful soul, currently living in a shelter in Cyprus. She was found languishing forgotten in her cell when one of our rescue team visited a small local shelter. We asked about her and were told she had been there since being found as a puppy. We believe Moon deserves more than her life has given her so far. She is a gentle girl who is understandably a little scared when she meets new people. However, once she knows and trusts you, she is an obedient, kind and quiet girl.
Moon is looking for a home where her human or humans will allow her time to adjust and settle. She is such a clever girl that with the right kind handling and support she will be able to become a faithful, family pet. She would possibly be better in an adult only household or with older, dog savvy teenagers as she may struggle to cope with the noise and energy of children. We do not want her to waste anymore of her life and now that we have found her we want to give her the chance of a good life with her very own family.
Moon would be happy as an only dog providing you were there for her. She would also be happy to share with another, older, confident, male dog. She has not been cat tested, and we would cat test for you if required.
Ideally her new home should have a safe and secure garden and perhaps a corner on your sofa to snuggle with you.
Prior to her flight to the UK she will receive the vet preparation and vaccinations required, be neutered and microchipped, and have her entry passport prepared. The adoption fee required to cover the flight and courier costs as well as the related preparation costs to get her to you in the UK is £500.
