Let us introduce you to this wonderful girl called Dory. Dory is a 1.5 years old female Cross-Breed. She is a medium sized dog, 47cm tall, 87cm long and weights about 18kg. Dory is an authentic beauty, inside and outside, but her story is the story of disappointment with the humans who were supposed to take care of her, protect her and love her forever.
In her short life she has been abandoned twice. The first time with 8 months, because the family was getting a new baby and they weren’t able to deal with the work of two little children and a puppy and the second time with 1 year of age as they expected her to behave like a soft toy and didn’t want to spend their time with educating and showing her boundaries.
She has been like a challenge cup and been living at different places, but that isn’t what she deserves. She deserves a home, her forever home. A home where she will stay even after one month, 12 months or 5 years, a home where she will stay even if her family has to move, looses it’s job, gets a new family member or gets a new pet.
A home where she will stay even if she makes mistakes, barks or modifies the garden. Dory isn’t perfect like nobody is but like we all do, she deserves to have a forever home, where she is loved, respected and valued for like she is.
Dory is currently in foster care in King’s Lynn and living with other dogs. She has always lived in a home environment and is housetrained. She is a very lively and active girl. She loves to run, play and needs a lot of physical and mental stimulation.
A dog experienced young and active couple/person without young children would be perfect for her or a home with possibly one young active dog. She would be a perfect companion for agility, jogging or hiking.
Dory is a young dog and therefore still has a lot to learn. She needs a lot of one to one attention. She is a curious dog which likes to discover new things when out on a walk and she loves water over all. But she is also a dog which after an exhausted days of running and playing she enjoys to relax and enjoy cuddles.
