Leia is an 18 month old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross. She will be spayed, microchipped and vaccinated before being rehomed. She is child and dog friendly. Here’s what her foster family have to say about her now. “When Leia first arrived she was your typical playful pup, who knew little or no boundaries.
With some ground rules in place by myself, and Marley of course, she has quickly started to learn the ropes. She shows no food aggression, though she will try to stare food out of your hand. She is a loving young girl, likes to please and be close to you, sometimes a bit too close, we are still working on that one.
Leia does pull on the lead (with collar) so we are trying her on a harness to see if that helps out. Follows basic commands such as sit and leave. Her character has really started to show, she’s going to have a cheeky personality to say the least. Like your typical girl she can be stubborn, nothing a firm word won’t sort out.
We are currently focusing on her knowing her boundaries when playing, not to get too rough but dont think it will take her long to learn at all, just youngster behaviour. She has been okay in a crate and while in the car. Overall she is a really lovely young girl and I cant wait to see her grow “.
