Please meet Beautiful Betty!! Betty is a gorgeous 4 year old chocolate and white Bulldog that just wants to snuggle with you! Betty came to us from her breeder who was unable to sell or breed from her due to her being blind, she sadly had to have both eyes removed due to glaucoma shortly after she had a large litter of pups, Poor girl had no further use so was cast out like rubbish! Other than this obvious defect she is fit as a fiddle full of love and mischief and just desperate for a family to love and cherish her for the beauty she is!
Being blind doesn’t bother her at all, she is one of the happiest dogs I have ever met, the bum never stop wiggling! She is without a doubt the sweetest little girl. She is totally nuts, wriggles like a worm when she knows you are close you and bounces all over the place, if you are looking for a calm quiet lazy bulldog, that probably isn’t our Betty, however if you are looking for a family pet to get stuck in with everything – here she is!! She loves to play with other dogs, but she can be a bit of a bossy boots so would need a confident dog that she cant bully! Although, with training she will soon learn how life as a pet works! She also loves toys, something she has never had until now!
Betty is also learning that walking is fun, prior to coming here she had never had a lead or collar on, so was quite scared but now she is quite happy to go for walks! She walks well on the lead, and is great off her lead although being blind, you have to watch her! Betty needs a bulldog experienced home that fully understands the breeds needs and quirks!
Betty can be homed with older children age 13 plus as she is quite a boisterous girl, we would consider homes with younger children as long as they are used to boisterous dogs. She isn’t at all nasty just a bit of a bull in a china shop!!
Betty travels perfectly, in fact she just wants to curl up in comfort and sleep! Betty would make a fantastic addition to any home. She is the sweetest most adorable little snuggle bug you will ever meet. All she wants is to curl up with you for cuddles!
Do you have room in your home and heart for our beautiful Betty? Whatever love you give will be returned ten fold by this girl, and if I had room she would be staying here forever because she is just so wonderful. She is flea, wormed, spayed and microchipped .
