Telva is an 8-9 year old female German Shepherd Cross. She is much smaller than she looks like in the photos here. She has a light tan, smooth coat with a black mask. She’s about as big as a Border Collie, don’t be deceived by her shepherd face! Her GSD genes make her smart, obedient and loyal, but she didn’t inherit the size. She is a wonderful golden oldie, the two main words to describe her being: calm and affectionate.
She has an amazing calm character, with a low level of energy. She is not looking for mile-long walks, she is looking for quiet strolls next to someone who can pet her head as often as possible. She doesn’t pull on the lead and it’s a pleasure to take her out for a walk. She is trusting, loving and gentle with every person she meets. She is also very sociable with dogs, and is okay with cats.
Telva was found abandoned a few months ago and taken to a pound. She was fostered in August. Her foster home says she is house-trained and very good at home. She’s as calm as it gets, she is not noisy and does not destroy anything. She’s fostered with other sociable oldies and she settled in very fast without much problem. She is very happy to keep people company and enjoys cuddles and affection more than anything else.
Health: Good. She had a uterus tumour removed a long while ago, and she recovered perfectly well. She’s healthy despite her age. No signs of arthritis or dysplasia. She is neutered. Current location is in a foster home in Spain can travel to the UK once she has a home to go to.
Adoption Fee : £180 – to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account.
