Bailey is a 6 month old male Ibizan Hound (Podenco). Oh wow we just love these Podencos! They are so popular in the UK and it’s a real treat to see them out and about! This hunk is puppy Bailey, he has the usual tell tale markings of tan and white short smooth coat and big big ears. Poor Bailey and his sisters were born in the shelter and were luckily taken straight into foster. His sisters have already been adopted.
The foster wanted to keep Bailey, which is why he is only just being offered for adoption, but she felt he would be better in a family home and that would then make room to help more dogs. He has the most beautiful eyes. They are same colour as his caramel coat. He is cheeky, playful, friendly, happy, everything you could want in a dog.
His mother is still traumatised and currently living in the foster’s field. At the moment she is not able to be caught. Every day Bailey goes to play with her in the field together with the other dogs and the cats, but we try to coax her in each day. Bailey is a beautiful, happy boy who would suit any family home.
Foster Report: Loving, playful and cheeky, needs Lead work and general obedience as hes still a pup. Although he does sit for his dinner! Poor boy was born in the shelter then came here for foster.
Current location is in a foster home in Portugal can travel to the UK once he has a home to go to.
Adoption Fee : £325 – to be paid direct to the Portuguese rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account.
