My name is Missy and I’m a 2 year old Doberman cross. Sadly the last few months have brought a lot of upheaval into my life as my mum and dad split up and I’ve been passed around to various people before coming to SEDR. When I first arrived I was a very scared girl but I soon trained the humans to throw my ball and now they are my best friends.
I have lived with other dogs but I haven’t really been taught how to interact properly with them so I am looking for a home where I am the only dog. I cannot live with cats. I am looking for an adult home who understand that I can be shy at first especially of men. But once I know you mean me no harm I am an extremely loving and loyal friend. I will need someone who can help socialise me with other dogs.
I tend to ignore other dogs even if they bark at me when I walk past but I would like to learn how to have some nice doggy friends! I will do anything for a game of fetch and I love treats! I’m good in the car and I have been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped. I really would just like to settle back into a home and have a family of my own again.
