Everly is an 8 month old, small size (shoulder height: 38 cm, weight: 12 kg) female Jack Russel Terrier cross who did not have a good start in life. She was handed over to the rescue staff when they were in fact out collecting another dog… She was about 2.5 month old then, thin and miserable, scared of everything. She has spent the past 5 months in foster care and she’s come out of her shell beautifully! She’s got a real sweet personality, very friendly with everyone, including dogs, cats and people!
Everly is a soft natured, friendly girl who is slightly timid at first, but it only takes her seconds to start trusting. She can be a bit intimidated by young children/toddlers but she has no problem with children over 6. She is an absolute pleasure to be around, she is a real happy girl now!
Everly is very friendly with dogs, loves running around playing with them. She currently lives with several dogs in her foster home so she is thoroughly socialized with them. She is also friendly with cats, usually wants to play with them and has never shown any aggression. She’s not walked regularly on the lead and her house training is in progress so it will probably need some tweaking.
Everly would be best suited with a family without or with children over 6 where she is not left alone for long periods of time and there’s time for her training. Her future family will need to continue her socialization and train her to become a happy and well behaved adult dog. She could happily live with a friendly doggie mate to keep her company as she loves to play and is very sociable, but she would equally be happy living with her humans to care for her only.
Everly is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family’s found for her. She comes fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA approved paperwork. The right owner will need to agree to have her spayed. Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee.
