Chunk – 12 week old male French Bulldog

Chunk is a 12 week old male French Bulldog. Chunk came to us as a very underweight and generally poor looking pup, time, patience good nutrition have worked wonders. He has grown and thrived and is now ready for the next stage in his journey, his forever home. Before you apply please read his write up fully, although he looks cute and is tiny his attitude is beyond huge!

We would like new owners who have bull breed experience, he is stubborn and feisty and not afraid to show it, he will need to attend training classes to ensure he learns manners and grows into a social well behaved adult dog. Chunk will do best with firm guidelines and boundaries, although tiny he must not be indulged otherwise he has the potential to become a beast. He is great with other dogs and has been in a multi dog household, he is also fine with the cats provided they are dog savvy as he does like to play with them (foster cat thinks he is a dog!).

Chunk will need new owners who are around for most of the day and who have the time and patience to continue his training, as you can imagine he does pee and poop and he will chew on anything that is left within his tiny reach. He sleeps happily in his crate at night and travels well in the car. He is quiet and does not suffer from travel sickness.

He will be best re homed with another dog, an older gentle dog to guide him and remind him of his manners would be fab. He is full on as you would expect and looks for trouble when he can, as he is so tiny its very easy to loose him under sofa’s chairs and tv units – care will need to be taken to ensure he has secure areas that he cannot escape from by accident or intentionally, he is a little explorer.

Please do not apply for Chunk if you have not owned dogs previously, he needs experienced owners who know and understand the breeds needs. Chunk has been vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. He will need to be neutered at the correct age as part of the adoption contract. Reduced cost neutering is available at our vets on request. Proof of neutering will be required. He is currently being fostered in Aldershot Hampshire.
