Winnie is a 3 year old female Miniature Schnauzer. Winnie is a beautiful girl who is no longer required for breeding, she is as you would expect, still very nervous in some situations. Winnie will need new owners who are around for a good part of the day and who have at least one other resident dog to help her settle in and give her confidence and guidance, as she is nervous we will only re home violet with older teenagers.
She is still terrified of her lead and harness and will take further work in her new home before she becomes happy and confident enough to enjoy her walks. The resident dogs will help her adjust as will some time and patience. Winnie is fine to be left for short periods and when she is tired is happy to take herself off to her crate for a snooze or she will cuddle up on a dog bed with one of the other dogs.
Winnie has been mostly clean in the house but a few accidents should be expected initially whilst she settles in. She is very nervous of having her face cleaned or clipped so will need either an owner experienced with grooming or owners who have a good report with their groomer and who will take time to gain her trust and work with her.
Winnie traveled well in the car and was both clean and quiet. She has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is currently being fostered in Uckfield East Sussex.
