Tobi and Mitzi are 2 year old male and female Shih Tzu cross Bichon Frise. Tobi (smaller, curly coat) and Mitzi are an adorable duo sadly looking for a new home due to their owner’s ill health. They have been much loved pets all of their life and this has been a very hard decision for their owner to make. They are not related but are a very bonded pair so we are looking for a home where they can stay together.
Tobi and Mitzi are friendly, sweet natured dogs who also mix well with other dogs. Mitzi is excitable when she first meets you and may jump up but does settle quickly. She loves to play with tennis balls and has excellent recall for a treat. Tobi can initially be nervous and responds best when he can come to you in his own time. He is easily spooked and may back off if you try to pick him up, however he is friendly. Both Tobi and Mitzi are used to regular grooming and have no known behaviour or medical issues. They are housetrained, although Mitzi can have the odd accident if not in a strict routine.
Tobi and Mitzi are currently used to someone being home throughout the day and therefore we are looking for a home where they will rarely be left for more than a couple of hours. They are used to visiting children of all ages, however as they have never actually lived with any we are looking for a home where any children are over the age of 12. They could live with a compatible dog/s of a similar size and age.
